Megan Herbert is an award-winning multi-hyphenate artist with more than 20 years as a commercial illustrator and over 12 years of live-illustration experience in Australia and around the world. Having worked as a trusted illustration partner with The Earth Day Network, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Wheeler Centre, Readings Books, TEDx, The School of Life, United Nations agencies and many more, she now also brings her world-class live-illustration experience to luxury weddings and private events.

As the current Australian Political Cartoonist of the Year, Megan doesn’t just draw pretty pictures, she also brings insight and nuance to her work.

Whatever the nature of the event, Megan’s focus is always on capturing its spirit. She elevates events to become works of art in real time, making first-class occasions into truly unforgettable ones.

  • Live illustration can be entertainment, a means of documentation, or a mixture of both. Megan is adept at working in both traditional and digital media, which means her illustrations can either be one-off bespoke creations, or images shared online, turned into prints, or distributed any other way you choose. The key skills involved in live drawing are speed, accuracy and artistry. Megan offers a combination of all three, elevating any event.

  • Megan consults with you in the lead up to your event to discuss package inclusions for private events and, for brand activations, any branding elements to incorporate. Working on-site, Megan offers an experience that both entertains your guests and leaves them with a piece of the event to remind them of your product or brand and their experience. For corporate events and conferences, Megan prepares digital files in advance to enable her to produce up to ten illustrations per hour on the day. She familiarises herself with your speakers to ensure that her interpretation of the discourse is accurate and on-point. Megan then works with your team either to release the illustrations in real time on social media, or delivers them after the fact for your promotional use.

  • Since every event is unique Megan takes care to prepare individual quotes. There are several signature packages available for weddings and private events, providing you with trouble-free and streamlined planning. Corporate events attract an hourly rate. In all cases, the investment offers an unforgettable experience for you and your guests that sparks warm memories and brand buzz for years to come.
